Nobody
Nobody knows how many times I've cried myself to sleep at night. Nobody knows how many times I've felt bad about myself when I look in the mirror. Nobody knows how many times I've told myself that I'm not good enough or that I can't do it right. And still people just assume that I'm perfectly fine. But yet nobody notices how I fake a smile to hide my pain. Nobody notices that I hide behind a barrier. Nobody notices how my silence screams the loudest. Nobody notices when I stand there crying in the rain. Nobody notices how I ache when I breathe. Nobody notices how each breath I take feels cursed and crowded. Nobody knows how many lies I've told. Nobody notices that I don't even know my own name. Nobody knows that each smile is rehearsed and controlled. Nobody knows the pain i fight inside. Nobody notices that I've been forgotten in this flame. Nobody notices how I wear the scars that no one can see. Nobody knows that all of my hope has already died. And still yet, nobody knows me. written by: Addy Presley
