I've belonged to you for a while, take with you of me what you will. I've become now a far along thought, continued as a straight desert drought. Tucked away in your pocket of a soul, furrowed brow and tear stains of old. I've become down, lonely, and cold- no longer that man you met on that shelf. Take me all in no longer the monster you fought so hard to break in. Betrayed and dismayed. My brain danced with my heart on tin puppeteer strings. I only know to feel lost, no longer found, saved but forgot. it's so easy for you to turn and walk away, It's almost as easy for me to continue to stay.
