no tears left to cry (remix)
When I say I have no tears left to cry, people often interpret it as if I’ve moved on and healed. But in truth, it means that the pain has gone so deep that even divine intervention seems powerless to mend it. Now, I only experience numbness and emptiness in my heart, as the pain continues but has been met with a forced acceptance. My heart has forgotten its rhythm, but that's alright because it no longer feels. And in this numbness, I find a strange relief no longer a crying mess, but a quiet acceptance of my emotional void.
