No Resentment
When I harbour no resentment I made the other person's behaviour irrelevent. When I doused the rage within me with forgiveness, I expelled the beast from my inner world. Unhindered, breathing freely, I focus on loving those I love for they supported and love me the way I am. No more resentment to the abuser's hands nor to the slanderers when they slandered with their callous tongues. I found solace dipping into serenity of prayers. Exorcised the haunted feeling of betrayal to myself, by forgiving the people who wounded me in the past.
