No Peace In the World 2
The media's influence spreads like a subtle, insidious stain, A poison that seeps into our souls, and fuels our deepest pain. We prioritize the superficial, the external, and the vain, Over the future's plight, and the consequences of our actions' stain. Love's been supplanted by the lure of gold, A fleeting treasure that leaves our hearts and souls to unfold. Truth is a rare find, in a world of deceit and guile, We flatter with our tongues, to gain, and leave the genuine smile. Who shall redeem the world, and bring back love's warm light? Who shall heal the wounds, and end this endless, darkest night? Can we break free from this cycle of pain and strife? Or shall we continue down this path, a world devoid of life? Let's rise above the hate, and sow the seeds of love, Let's strive for unity, sent from above. For in the end, it's not the gold that we'll recall, But the love we shared, the kindness, and the hearts that stood tall. In a world torn apart, by strife and discord's might, Let's choose to stand together, and shine with love's pure light. Let's heal the wounds, and mend the broken hearts, And strive to build a world, where love and peace never depart.
