No One Understands
Tears rolling down my face I just told my mom how I feel No one understands what you did to me No one gets how painful it is to see you We were never together But why did it look like you liked me too? Why did it seem like there was hope? Seeing your face hurts me like nothing else does Seeing you is the most painful part of my day What the hell did you do to me? You don't even know you did it You get to go on with life happily You are about to get the girl You're Mr. Varsity-Football-Player Everyone seems to love you Then there's me The blonde girl who isn't popular pretty Not the perfect cheerleader with a caked face The girl who doesn't go to parties The unknown person at school At least that's what it seems like Yet last year, you noticed me It gave me hope and giddiness Turns out, it's always too good to be true It's not like the movies in real life Because if it were a movie, you'd be mine Everyone tells me to move on If I could, I would be thousands of miles away The thought of you would be dead Instead it is buried alive Alive in my heart and thoughts Why? Because I never stopped caring about you Or thinking about you Or wondering what we could've been Life hurts without you I hope that changes
