No One Noticed
No one saw how much I was struggling, The hurtful things they said still echoing. No one saw the pain it caused me, Not until it came back to haunt me. No one saw, because how could they, When they can't even stick around? No one saw me because I'm the forgotten middle child, The one they always thought was just wild. No one saw because they labeled me a failure, But I'm just trying to find my way like a sailor. No one saw the scars deep inside, Even as I'm breaking apart, trying to hide. No one saw me, thinking I was shameful, When in truth, it made me feel tearful. No one saw, because they thought I was agile, But deep down, I’m just fragile. No one saw, because I was never enough, And they believed I was strong enough to face my own struggles.
