No fancy words.
“Move on”, they say— but from what??? from forgetting the entire world while I was playing basketball, from being the topper of the class, from being the best daughter, from being happy without a reason, from the confident self, from the perfect person, from the most energetic soul, from the best version of me. “You’ve changed,” they say. Life changed me. Failure leached everything I had in me. I lost the spark to live, to enjoy life. I’m just alive because I didn’t die. But maybe I should move on— not by erasing who I was, but by accepting who I became. Maybe it’s time to start a new life, to start living, instead of just "surviving.” but the truth is I don't really know how.....
