Nightmares
In shadows deep, where nightmares creep, Through woods that echo endless weep. Knees buckle, tired, in desperate race, Yet breath eludes, an unrelenting chase. Nose bleeding, crimson rivers flow, Unwiped, the pain begins to grow. Hoarse screams pierce the night so cold, The demonic self, a tale untold. Distorted form, a ghastly mirror, Elongated limbs, a twisted terror. Eyes absent, sockets dark and red, A grin so sharp, fear's knot is bred. Through the haunting woods, a tragic dance, A nightmare's grip, a relentless trance.
