New Beginnings
It is a sad day when you leave where you dwell Living somewhere else, even if temporary Goodbyes are always hard for family, We have to tell From first steps to pre-school and college dorms Going places where it's uncomfortable and new Meeting people unknown and in many forms With responsibilities upon stress, which we're bidden to do Heartbreak and sadness from every move Witnessing paths and lives unwind of many different people Like a plank of wood, we must find a new groove Trying to not offend or intrude upon the lives of sheople Eventually, we may return from this desolate cold And meet again with ones we love bold
