With caution and care , I'll whisper this warning : Never trust anyone ; Your heart they'll be scorning Trust is like a mirror you can fix it if it's broken , but you can see the crack in the reflection To family , I say : Be wary , be cautious As love can deceive , Even from the youngest . Never trust , never yield , for blood may be thinker , But lies may be wielded To lead you astray . With words I speak, Not from pages alone, But from a heart that's wept, From a life that's known. I have journeyed through pain, Through joy and through sorrow, And from this path, I gain The truth I can borrow Like fragile glass, Trust is easily shattered, By the careless hands Of the one who mattered.
