Nature's Call
Rain pours down, the skies are crying, The wind is singing, branches sighing. Dancing with leaves and trees so tall, Nature awakens, answering the call. Yet the sun refuses to admit defeat, Shining brighter, its glow replete. Ever bolder against the gray, Pushing the heavy clouds away. Birds join the wind's melody, A chorus in motion, wild and free. Water drums on all it touches, The rooftop, earth its song dispatches. Each drop a soft rebellion, Each note, a hymn, a pure medallion. In nature's grand symphony wide, Every rhythm beats side by side. Flowers lift their faces high, Petals open, prayers to the sky. Sipping the silver gift from the clouds, Whispers of beauty sung aloud. The river hums as it swells with life, Carrying secrets, joy and strife. Its current tells old stories deep, That only the patient stones still keep. Children of the earth all hear, The air, the soil, the flame so near. The wave, the song, in harmony blend, Speaking together with no end. And in the middle of it all, I stand still, my spirit small. My breath caught by the rise and fall, Of nature’s voice , its endless call.
