Native American Heritage
In the land of wide and open skies, they roam, The Native Americans, guardians of the land, Having lived in the land of the mountains, Connected to the earth, by its hand. Their traditions are passed down from generation old, Stories of bravery and battles won, Their culture is rich in stories untold, Their spirit shines bright like the sun. Resilient warriors, hunters, and guides, Living in harmony with all they hold dear, Respecting the land, rivers, and tides, Their wisdom and knowledge are crystal clear. But history tells a different tale, Of hardship, loss, and frail people. Forced from their homes, their lands taken away, Their way of life forever changed, Their spirits crushed, their voices led astray, Their once proud tribes rearranged. Yet through it all, they stand strong and true, Resilient in the face of adversity, Their hearts beating with a rhythm anew, Their culture is preserved for eternity. So let us honor these noble souls, Whose legacy will forever endure, Their spirit lives on in the stories they've told, In the hearts of all who are pure. Let us learn from their wisdom and grace, And strive to protect their sacred space.
