Narcissistic/Toxic People

Narcissistic people are like a disease they make me sick. They don't take accountability for their behavior, they only play mind games and tricks. I hold my tongue to keep from saying things I don't wanna say. Whether I defend myself or not, I'll still get mistreated either way. Toxic people are like poison. I guess that's why they're called toxic. When I call out their abuse, they'll always change the topic. Don't get me started on energy, cause they'll drain you of that as well. Flee from them or else they will make your life a living hell! Narcissistic people are manipulators He or she will get mad when you take your power back. They want a reaction out of you. So do your best not to crack. Writing this poem triggered me although I could've disregard. The trauma left me hurting and the pain left me scarred. Toxic people are like bullies who pick on you til you break. Friendly they may seem, but really they're poisonous snakes. Healing and breaking generational trauma is hard. I must admit. I'm weary and exhausted but I'm trying hardest not to quit.
