I asked you to pick out a nail polish color You grabbed three for me I was looking at them in your car Admiring the color of one You gently took it from my hand Grabbed a napkin and took my hand Laid it flat and opened the bottle You started to paint You painted each nail carefully Wiping away polish from my skin You added two coats evenly You really don't know how much That meant to me I hope the polish never chips
