Myself.
I am myself. Sometimes I don't want to be. Sometimes I think I'd be better off as someone else. Sometimes I know I shouldn't stay quiet about these thoughts I have, about these actions I do. The scars on my thighs, On my torso, On my arms. The woman says they show my journey. But when I look at them, all I see is my mistakes, my sorrow, my uselessness. I am myself. I'm clean from cutting, I don't like it anymore. It doesn't help, it only harms. The woman was right Those faded scars show how far I've come. I love being myself. I'm no longer quiet, I no longer have those thoughts, or actions. I know I cannot change who I am. Yet I don't mind. I am myself, journey and all. I found how to love myself get rid of the bad. I love myself. We all can recover.
