My Yah Of Vengeance
In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play I sense a presence, that's unseen, yet stalks my way What lurks behind, with malice in its heart? What nocturnal fears, assail me, when I'm torn apart? But I know, in faith, that One above beholds A God of vengeance, who fights for me, and never grows old In times of doubt, when darkness seems to prevail He's the beacon of hope, that shines, and never fails He's the shield that guards me, the buckler that defends The stronghold that sustains me, when my strength contends With trials and tribulations, that seek to break my stride He's the victor, who fights for me, and stands beside Though I may walk in poverty's humble guise With Him, I'm rich in spirit, with blessings that surprise He's the wisdom that guides me, the life that makes me whole The Giver of all good gifts, who loves me, soul to soul In a world beset by evil, where deception reigns I live with freedom, because He walks with me, and sustains His love is unconditional, a love that's pure and true A love that's not based on merit, but on His heart, anew He opens doors, that were once shut tight Paves a way, through the darkness, into the light He guides and protects me, with a loving, gentle hand
