My travels
Long was the road, Hard was the journey, With thorns and vines, Each step laced with pain. To all that I have seen, To all the hurt endured, Countless mistakes made, Countless tears shed. It was meant to be To see, to feel, Never to inflict on others, Yet inflicted upon me. To my heart, I apologize. Never once deserved, The countless wounds you bear. Now I look back— A road stained in blood, Blood born of suffering, With red that was never love.
