my thoughts for you
I see you blooming, full of grace When I think of you, I fade in place I know well At my age, Love seems to be of little wage, It’s just a picture on a page. But with you, it’s something more, I see you and life feels like a shore. I’d like to confess my feelings true, But I'm afraid one day you might not be too. That’s why I keep my lips sealed tight, Not giving signs that aren't quite right. I don’t want to lose our friendship, dear, But I won’t give up, I’ll persevere. I’ll find a way to let you know, Without the risk of pain and woe. When I see you, butterflies take flight, And when I think of you, it feels so right. I want you to enter my life one day, But fate has its own way to sway. I can do nothing, it's out of my hand, But I hope one day, you’ll understand. ~Rita
