My Thoughts
And I sit here with my thoughts, Some scream and shout, Others whisper and whimper, I can no longer decipher between them, For every image they put behind my eyes, Every feeling they bring to the surface, They are all doused in gloom. So I take this bottle of red, Maybe I mix it with white, Drown myself until I see pink, I wash away the anguish for a moment, Until I hear a voice that is not my own, I see vivid sight of the beauty I once held, The scene floods away and out my eyes, I awake in lonesome and shiver the memories. And I sit here with my thoughts, as it all starts again...
