My Tears - A Poem About Tired
My tears used to ebb and flow like a river to my soul I shed them every single time I didn't know where to go My tears were like diamonds shimmering quiet and sweet my tears came at a hefty price that everyone could beat My tears were like raindrops pelting lightly on my face I used to make them disappear so no one would find a trace I cried my tears almost every day until I could no more until one day, they suddenly stopped as if someone closed a door You say I can tell you how I feel "anything", you say and yet you are the very thing that plagues me everyday I've learned my tears are worthless now I shall shed no more for I am the one who was smart enough to finally close that door "Are you done?" you said to me or you gave me an annoyed glare but now, I shall not cry for you so don't you even dare © CheerySuperNova
