My Struggle

In pages worn, I find my escape A world of wonder, Where pain couldn't ache I wished for magic, a snap of my fingers To change everything, and make it all new But life doesn't work that way I found strength in my struggle, Day by day a new chapter unfolded, Unexpected and cold A new chapter I never thought was in the book of my life to be told Now I write my story, with it own plot twist a tale of survival, of trials and resist The happy ending, I once imagined free Is now my reality, in this new chapter of me.
