My Story Was Never Told
In silence, I've held the weight Of memories hidden, and secrets kept late A narrative woven, yet never shared A life lived quietly, with emotions bared The pages torn, from my inner book The words unspoken, the chapters unhooked The tale of dreams, of trials and strife Remains untold, and locked in my life In shadows cast, I've walked alone With ghosts of past, that whisper unknown The whispers loud, of what could've been Echoes of choices, that shaped my skin The world outside, saw only my face But never knew, the depths of my place Where fears resided, and hopes did dwell And the story unfolded, that only I could tell My voice unheard, my words unspoke The story hidden, like an uncut cloak But still I hold, the pen in my hand To write the truth, of this untold land Perhaps someday, the tale will be told And the world will hear, my story unfold But until then, I'll hold it tight And keep the secrets, through the dark of night.
