My Space, My Place
What do you consider a home, if not a place to be safe? What is a home? A home is a place to be free and alive. School is my own, A place to be safe, A place I call home, The place where I thrive. Surrounded by family, Surrounded by friends. Surrounded by those I love, Surrounded by memories that never end. School is my home, School is my place. A place I feel like I belong. An empty, free space. I am a student, amid this domain. I beg for freedom, But I do not reign. I am a classmate, helping my family when I can. Helping those who need it, and helping those that I can't. School is a home, School is my place. My family and friends, that is my space. I am a student, a teacher, a classmate, a friend. A small imperfection in this hierarchy, Who's story doesn't have an end. The space around me is ever so grand, and it's here that I fight for my place. I have found what I needed, a place to call home. This is my space, to lend a helping hand. This is what I needed. A place to call home. So I leave now with these words. Don't worry about it, those small mistakes. You will find a home like me. My space, my place.
