My Soul's Lament
In tender hands, my fleeting moments lie, Amidst life's storms, Thy mercy enfolds me. Thy love, unchanged, stands like an anchor high, While days dissolve, like sand, beneath the sea. Thy presence whispers secrets in my ear, Oh, majestic splendor, my soul's deepest core. Thy grace remains, unshaken and sincere, A refuge from life's turbulent, troubled roar. Yet, hidden scars and pains within me stay, Concealed from sight, but etched upon my heart. No outward mark, but inner ache remains, A bittersweet reminder of love's sweet art. Teach me, dear Lord, to grasp Thy love's vast sea, And in its depths, find peace, serenity.
