my silent hero
In the silenc of your long days, you stand tall like a castle made of love so grand and pure. No you never wore a silly costume or a cape nor did you have a shield, but in your heart a strength is revealed. Through your sleepless nights, through battles you fought, You still gave us all you never had, While demons whispered in your mind. You chose to fight and leave them far behind. Your smile perfect a beacon of light, strong and bright, It guided us through the darkest of nights. You carried burdens no one could see, Yet still you gave us love so endlessly. When life was heavy, and faith was thin, You'd smile and say, "don't worry We'll try again." In the silence you'd fight a thousand wars, But never once did you slam the doors. You taught me how to love and how to fight, To face the world with all my strength and might. Your hands built dreams and standards with gentle care, And showed me how life is indeed always fair. Through all the years, through joys and struggles You gave me everything in life. The best dad in this endless universe, Even when you couldn’t always see but we will always love you endlessly.
