My Short Life

Not everyday my heart will beat, For one day it will cease. In that moment of reflection, my introspection showed my peace. peace with all the wars I've fought, There's no more discontent. Quiet in past raging storms, To enemies, I've made ammendment. I took the time to smell the roses, For I am like a flower too, Sunlight warms my inner glow, As morning brings forth each new dew. And when I'm cut from this vast field, The wind shall take me to my rest, I've learnt, I've loved, I shared and cared, I served the Lord, and gave my best -🌹Rose x❣️
