My Shame 02#
I carry my shame on my arms and thighs They're raised and ugly but it doesn't mean I want to die I just wanted some relief, I wanted a way out Yet people judge as if they'd know what it's like Like they carry the shameful sins and feelings I do Like they know what's like drowning but wanting to stay underwater because it's safer Like they know. Like they could understand. How can anyone who understands look at me the way they do? Pitying...Judging...criticizing. I pity myself enough. I judge myself enough. I criticize myself everyday. I'm ashamed of my own body, mind and soul. So please ignore me. Don't stare. Don't ask.
