My Serendipity
My Serendipity When I'd hear your voice When I'd see your face How I felt wasn't a choice And my heart would race Like a moth to a flame An Achilles heel Venture to gain Only time will reveal But from every possibility To what feels like courtesy I fell into your gravity But not your certainty Now stuck in no mans land Not one thing or another Wishing you'd take my hand Then take the leap to discover Or wipe the slate clean This serendipity An unrealistic dream And not meant to be Instead as friends Through any strife A connection that mends Moving through life
