MY RELATIONSHIP DILEMMA
(By Ellah phinifolo) When I wake, I crave being your first thought, A morning kiss, a gentle "How was your night?" I yearn to be the first one you text, To feel cherished, like I'm all that's on your mind. But if you delay, even for a minute, And respond to someone else's text before mine, We'll likely fight. I can't help but wonder, How could you prioritize others over me, your love? I confess, I'm a bit demanding in relationships, In the afternoon, I long to hear your praise, Compliments on my appearance, no matter the phase. Happiness radiates from my cheeks when you notice, But if you forget, I'll feel neglected, unspoken. I need reassurance, constant reminders you're mine, Tell me how your day was, and how much you miss me, all the time. I want our goodbyes to be sweet, with "I love you, Ellah", Even if it's just a lie, it's what I need to hear. In the evening, tell me you're on your way home, So I can be the first to gree t you, and be by your side, alone. I want to share every moment, every bite, Every shower, every glance, every delight. Transparency is my forte, no secrets, no lies, But I know you can't be everything I need, and that's why I cry. I think that's why I can't keep relationships
