My Regret
You were a memory I was supposed to hide, An event I was supposed to deny. I failed to do so, But god knows I tried. I tried to forget you, I tried to avoid you But my heart wants what the brain can't do. And now I'm so very confused. Our bedroom is not the same Without you anymore, The memories of us Still linger in the walls.. We used to be something nothing Could break apart, But the way you left me Implied that you dint have a heart. You left me alone and betrayed, You stole the keys to my heart and locked the cage. Forever I remain trapped in your absence, I won't dare go out, For there's nothing there for me. Nothing but hate and depression, It lingers on the air like a quiet confession.. A confession to your lies, And prof of my silent cries. But never again will I cry for you, My heart will know better Than to act like a fool. Done By : Chloe Taffy Dz
