My Plea
In shadows cast by words, once spoken, I tread softly where trust lies broken. With a humble heart and lowered eyes, I seek the truth beneath the skies. Forgive the wounds I failed to see, The careless acts that hurt thee. If pain was sown within my hand, I ask you now to understand. For in the silence, I repent, Regret’s a song that’s never spent. I offer hope, a gentle dove, A quiet plea for healing love. So take my hand, let past be past, And build a bond that’s meant to last. For in your mercy, I find grace A chance to start, a warm embrace
