My Personal Hell
In the depths of despair, I dwell alone, Chains of darkness bind my soul, for sins atoned. No solace, no release, in this eternal cell, I am trapped, condemned, my own personal hell. The fire within me burns, a relentless flame, I bear the burden of guilt, my sins the same. Every moment, every breath, an agonizing pain, In this prison, for eternity, I shall remain. No more-lit nights or warm embrace, Only darkness and torment, a never-ending chase. The weight of my transgressions, heavy on my chest, My soul consumed by remorse, forever unrest. A lifetime of regret, etched upon my very being, In this inferno of damnation, I am forever seeing, The consequences of my actions, a punishment so severe, As I pay for my sins, in this prison I adhere. But perhaps, in this agonizing abyss I find, A chance for redemption, a flicker yet to blind. For even in the darkest hours, a glimmer may arise, To guide me towards forgiveness, to salvage my demise. So, I shall search for that light, amidst the chains that bind, Within this prison of eternal darkness, solace I must find. In the depths of despair, I dwell alone, Chains of darkness bind my soul, for sins atoned.
