My perfect world
If the world were mine, I would paint the skies, A canvas stretched where beauty flies. With strokes of gold, I would shape the sun, To light the paths of everyone. The clouds would drift like velvet dreams, Soft whispers sewn in silver seams. I would blend the hues of dusk and dawn, A masterpiece to gaze upon. Each tree would bloom in colors rare, A palette bold beyond compare. The rivers would sing in tones of blue, Reflecting all I would make anew. I would string the stars like lantern light, where hearts and eyes align, If only this small world were mine. With brush in hand, I would shape the air, A painted haven, pure and fair. For if the stars could all obey, I would build a realm where dreams could stay.
