My own fault
They thought I was dead, And didn't hesitate, When the sky turned red, To bury my body. Through a silent heart, And cold cheeks, I caused pain, And little fear. But no pain from the loss From me, Because I was always filled with greed, A lot of money that I promised people, But I never want to give it away. And when I woke up in the coffin, In gentle evening rain, Nobody cried at my grave, It was only because of me.
