My own Enemy

Is it because i am always overthinking, never to escape the many layers of my own head? Is it because I am always giving into people pleasing? Is it because all I want is to belong in a world, that sees me as a sin? Is it because I am seeking validation from the people that means nothing to me? or is it simple just because that's all I know is to be in my own head.
