My Oceanic Tomb
In the depths of despair, I find myself alone Adrift in a sea of sorrow, where darkness is my home A weight that's crushing, like the ocean's darkest floor I'm drowning, suffocating, in a sea of pain and more The world above, a distant memory, a fading light As I descend, the pressure grows, and my breath takes flight The silence is deafening, a void that's hard to bear My screams are silenced, as I'm dragged down by my care I cling to the surface, but it's slipping away Like grains of sand between fingers, as I'm swept astray I grasp for something solid, a lifeline to hold tight But it's lost in the darkness, and I'm left to fight The water's icy grip, it's cold and unkind It wraps around my heart, and I'm left behind The world above, a distant hum, a fading song As I sink beneath the waves, where I don't belong I try to break the surface, to rise up and be free But it's too late, I'm trapped, in this watery sea I'm drowning in my tears, in my own despair A prisoner of pain, with no escape to share But even in the depths, there's a glimmer of hope A spark within me, that refuses to cope A voice that whispers truth, that speaks of life anew A promise that someday, I'll rise up, and I'll be free once more
