My Mom
In my room, I sit in silence. I am thinking of December 29, 2021, the night I sent you in the ambulance. Just like I sent you several times through out the month. I knew and my siblings knew that you were not feeling yourself. Doctors appointments were put in play amd we knew that metastatic cancer was the cards we dealt. December 30th was the date the cancer doctor would meet with us to give us options we may take. Unfortunately that night the 29th turned into the 30th, and I got the call that not all is well and get here immediately the Doctor persisted. I called my siblings amd and we saw you there Ventilator amd comfortable you looked. The decision was asked of me, Your organs had failed and no meds were working septic shock your body caught. We let you go December 30th, it was time to rest your body. Your four children love you so, Mom I love and miss you, Please remember that as I write this . This is the first time I've shared this pain.
