My miserable life
A heavy heart, a soul so worn, A life that's lost its spark, its form. The darkness closes in, a suffocating shroud, A misery that grips, and won't let go, somehow. The days blend together, a never-ending haze, A monotony that numbs, and drains the gaze. The nights are long, and sleepless too, A restless mind, that's plagued by thoughts anew. The world outside, seems bright and bold, But in my world, the shadows never unfold. The joy and laughter, seem so far away, A distant memory, of a happier day. I'm trapped in this cycle, of pain and strife, A prisoner of my own, miserable life. The tears I've cried, the screams I've made, Echoes of a sorrow, that's never faded. But still I hold on, to a glimmer of hope, A light that flickers, in this darkest scope. Perhaps someday, the clouds will part, And sunshine will warm, this heavy heart. Until then, I'll face this darkest night, And search for solace, in the morning light. For even in misery, there's a chance to find, A way to heal, and leave the pain behind.
