Everyday I make a mess of my wardrobe To answer my," how should I hide my scars?" Maybe a cap will hide this? Or maybe that's what I wished for. Or Maybe a few touch ups, But who am I kidding, Too thin, no hair, skinny frame pale skin and only pain. I saw a reflection of a woman Who I couldn't recognize. Too many ugly thoughts like I was on thin ice I asked myself, "Why am I doing this ?" When all I'll see are faces like mine In a place like this where, Yellow packets, silent screams, Lost hopes and lost souls. Be positive they said, I pulled a smile with my finger. But took a tissue to wipe that droplet of tear. Right then I heard a voice calling me out, Called me "ma", showered me with kisses. Like the magic mirror from snow white, I have my magical daughter...
