my lost and my new man

My family asked me who the new guy I told them that he was the love of my life, But i didn't see his true colors til a year later, And when i figured his true colors, It hurt bc i was blindly in love with this dude, And then i found a new new guy, He has been amazing to me, I didn't know what love was then, Until i found him, He gave flowers and chocolate And gave me a ring gods sack, He is awesome. i say awesome, If you asked me about him a year ago, I would say i didn't know him, And now, if you would ask me about him, I would say, He made me smile the first time, Since 2016, And then friday happened, And lost me, great grandmother, And he was there the whole time i needed him, And today, i couldn't hold back the tears, And i was trying to play cards with my family, I was too distracted bc of my loss, And ran off and cried, And my dad never helped the way he did today.
