my lifeline (part 2)
...But now I do. Because now I have a reason to. Someone who makes it all worth it. So now that I've started this journey, I'm trying to quit. Quit all my bad habits, all the things I do to make myself feel shit. Lately I've realised how much the moon helped me. How he is always there. No matter how I look, how much I cry, even when I overshare. The moon is my savior. Without him, I would've never made it this far. In this poem, the moon is a person. Someone who shoots for the star, one that never fails to put a smile on my face whenever playing is guitar. This poem is just for you my dear, and I wish to stand by your side throughout the years. Hence you are the moon in my life. You are my light during these hard times. And I need you to know that you are my lifeline.
