my lifeline (part 1)
It's cold outside. I look up. The moon. It's been guiding me through the darkness. It's the 24th of November, 2025. Snow is covering the wilderness. The last 365 days, the moon has been my savior. I have been following it's brightness. Without him, I would not have been able to find my way out of this mess. The way he did it was with so much ease, he took the weight off my shoulders as if it wasn't heavy at all. He brought me outside and I felt like I could finally breathe, and even after one year, he keeps telling me to love myself. To stand tall. You may think, why hadn't I done that a year ago?
