My Life in Refugee Camp
I stay in camp, not place to dreams, No peace to seek, yet still I remained. The life is unsafe, nowhere to go, Each day be risk, where I live. No voice to speak, but the temper is deep, My heart is like hollow shell, once full, now died. The caves are wide, where skies are clean, In the stillness of night, I usually cry unheard. Yet I speak, though the world is deaf, Daylight, I will carve our name in stones. No longer in fear, I will rise one day, With the voices load, so the world will hear. ARASHAD ULLAH
