My Life Behind Closed Doors
In secret chambers, hidden from the sun Lies a world of shadows, where my truth is undone Behind closed doors, I conceal my pain And lock away the tears that fall like summer rain The masks I wear, a disguise so fine Conceal the scars that crisscross my mind The whispers loud, the echoes clear Remind me of fears, and doubts that linger here In darkness, I confront my deepest fears And wrestle demons, through a sea of tears The weight of secrets, the burden I bear A solitary journey, with no one to share But still I rise, with every fall And find solace, in the silence's call For in the shadows, I discover strength And learn to heal, where love's absence length Behind closed doors, I find my voice A whispered cry, a heartfelt choice To face the ghosts, that haunt my night And emerge stronger, in the morning's light So let the doors stay closed, for now And keep the world, from my hidden vow For in this secret space, I'll find my way And rise anew, come dawn's breaking day.
