My Letter To Her
She was a slippery ledge Hard to hold onto She was as warm as the sun When she embraced herself to me it was as if a cloud of warmth and comfort beheld me She was just as smart as many Even though immature and dumb, she still taught me many She was my one and only My Everything, the love of my life, just not hers I held on so tight but it just somehow didn't feel right Just like my phone, I'm addicted to her obsessed with the idea of talking to her can't go a day without her I say I love you No answer back I see her with another boy Much better looking and better mannered Can't do much about that I see the way she walks with him sometimes i feel relieved Not the feeling of relief one gets when a burden leaves But the feeling of relief we get knowing they're in a better spot I admit i did many wrong things Many that affected our lives But my feelings sadly linger, the feeling of guilt and regret stay the feeling of regret, not being able to change the outcome the realization of reality, nothing ever lasts forever like we promised and soon then Without much words said just a simple goodbye She pressed a singular button "Block" And there she went just like a gust of wind never meant to be
