MY LAST SHOT
For the shinobi, the katana is an extension An extension of one's own hand The katana is also the soul of a Shinobi A katana must feel endeared to its wielder For the guns I wield it is different The gun is not my soul Rather it diminishes my very soul Piece by piece with each bullet fired My soul is in the bullet the gun fires Unlike a Katana which stays intact The bullet is of no use after the shot The soul dwindles regardless of success Anyone who lives by the sword dies by it So they say but I don't wield a sword I didn't realise the meaning until today When I fired my last bullet and bit of soul
