my lantern

you are my light that guides me through the darkness. you are the brightest mind I have ever come across. you are a natural born leader that I would follow to the end of the earth. I look at you, and I see my future. you may not be beside me forever, but I will hold you close for as long as I can. eventually, the sun will come out. you will leave my side and join someone else in their journey. but I will always cherish the light you brought into my life.
