My Journey to Greatness
They'll know my name one day, though I can't promise when or how, Through songs I haven't written yet or paintings I can't see right now. The path to greatness isn't straight, it's messy and it's long, But I've got fire in my chest that keeps me pushing on. Some days I'm inconsistent, yeah, some days I let it slide, The dedication wavers when the doubt creeps up inside. But even when I stumble, even when I fall behind, I know that I'm not finished, I just need a little time. This isn't arrogance or just some fantasy I chase, It's knowing deep inside my bones I'm destined for that place. Where art becomes immortal, where the work outlives the man, Where everything I'm building now becomes part of the plan. So mark my words, remember them when you hear my name out loud, When my music shakes the stadiums, my books inspire the crowd. I'm not there yet, I'm stumbling, but I'm coming either way, The whole world doesn't know me—but they will, someday.
