My illness
A shadow crept, and stole my light A whispered diagnosis, a darkest night My body weak, my spirit worn A journey through pain, where fears were born Each day a test, each moment a fight To find the strength, to hold on tight The weight of symptoms, the crush of stress A burden to bear, a constant distress But still I rose, through every trial Through every tear, I found a glimmer of smile A resilience born, of deepest night A determination to shine, to hold on to light Though illness took, its heavy toll I found a voice, to speak my soul A story woven, of darkest days A testament to courage, in every way You are strong, you are brave, you are bright Your illness may have taken, but it will not define your light.
